8,778 fresh Covid-19 cases in Kerala, 22 deaths

A total of 8,778 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Kerala on Wednesday. The test positivity rate was recorded at 13.45 percent.

Among these, 7905 persons developed the disease through contact



including 627 cases without an identified source of infection.

205 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 41 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.
