75 per cent of new Covid-19 cases in country concentrated in 10 States, UTs: Govt

The Health Ministry has said that 75 per cent of New COVID -19  cases in the country are concentrated in 10 States and Union Territories.

In a tweet the Ministry said that the 10 States and Union Territories also account for 74 per cent of new recoveries. It said, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are among them which are



reporting higher number of recoveries and new  cases too.

The Ministry said that the  Central Government  is proactively extending technical, financial, material and other resources to all States and Union Territories to strengthen their capacities and sustain their efforts.
