7,302 new Covid-19 cases reported in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Maharashtra yesterday reported 7,302 news cases of Covid, taking the total caseload to 62,45,057.

 

According to the state’s public health department, 7,756 patients were discharged yesterday, taking the number of recovered patients to 60,16,506.

 

With 120 fatalities recorded for the day, the death toll has increased to 1,31,038. The state currently has an active caseload of



94,168.

 

Maharashtra’s recovery rate stands at  96.34 percent while the case fatality rate stands at 2.09 percent.

 

The state has so far conducted 4.62 crore coronavirus tests so far and the positivity rate stands at 13.5 percent.

 

Mumbai reported 389 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in Mumbai to 7,32,971. The city reported 502 recoveries and ten deaths yesterday.
