6,706 new cases of coronavirus in Karnataka

The number of COVID-19 infections breached the 2 lakh mark in Karnataka on Thursday as the state reported 6,706 new cases of coronavirus and 103 related fatalities, taking the death toll to 3,613.

Out of 6,706 fresh cases reported



on Thursday, 1,893 cases were from Bengaluru urban alone. As of August 13 evening, cumulatively 2,03,200 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in the state, which includes 3,613 deaths and 1,21,242 discharges, the health department said in its bulletin.
