45,136 more tested positive for Covid-19 in Kerala

As many as 45,136 more people tested positive for Covid-19 across Kerala in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally to 55,74,702, said the state health department on Saturday. 

Among those who were found infected today, 128 reached the state



from outside while 42,340 contracted the disease from their contact. The source of infection of 2,225 is yet to be traced and 443 health workers are also among the infected.

In addition to this, 132 deaths were registered in the state, taking the toll to 51,739.
