3,257 fresh cases of coronavirus in Delhi

With 3,257 fresh cases of coronavirus, Delhi on Sunday reported its highest single-day spike in infections in over 75 days. The previous highest spike in Delhi was on June 26 when the national capital recorded 3,460 Covid-19 cases.

After the 3,257 new coronavirus cases, Delhi's active case



tally has mounted to 20,909. The national capital also reported 29 deaths and 2,188 recoveries in the last 24 hours. A total of 36,046 tests were conducted.

Meanwhile, the number of containment zones in Delhi has topped the 1,000-mark. There are 1,076 containment zones in Delhi at present.
