2,798 new COVID-19 cases, 9 deaths in UAE

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Monday reported 2,798 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 3,933 recoveries and 9 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 148,587 additional



tests.

Over 27 million tests have been conducted across the country to date.

The total number of cases in UAE as on February 8 are 329,293 while total recoveries stand at 309,692. Death toll rises to 930.
