270 new Covid-19 cases reported in Manipur

In Manipur, 270 persons including 56 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours while only 49 persons were discharged.

 

Among the news cases, 205 are locals who do not have significant travel history and are suspected to be infected through local transmission. They are being shifted



to the COVID Care facilities.

 

The cumulative number of positive cases in Manipur is 9280 including 2014 Central Security Personnel.

 

The cumulative number of recovered cases is 6887 while the active cases are 2333. The recovery rate registered today is 74.21 percent.
