27 new Covid-19 positive cases reported from J&K

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, 27 new positive cases of Novel Corona virus, one from Jammu and 26 from Kashmir Division, were reported during last 24 hours taking the toll of positive cases in Union Territory to 434.

Out of 434 positive cases, 337 are Active Positive and 92 have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, five patients lost their lives. Now, the toll of positive Corona cases in Jammu Division has gone up to 57 while the number of positive cases in Kashmir Division rose to



377.

Till date 64,876 travellers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for surveillance which include 6,039 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 279 in Hospital Quarantine, 330 in hospital isolation and 13, 283 under home surveillance.

Besides, 44, 940 persons have completed their surveillance period. Till today 10, 977 test results are available out of which 10, 550 samples have tested negative.
