2 new Covid-19 cases reported in Andamans

Port Blair: The COVID-19 tally of Andaman and Nicobar Islands rose to 5,026 on Tuesday as two more persons tested positive for the infection, a health official said.

Two more persons also recovered from the disease, he said.

The archipelago now has



seven active cases, while 4,957 people have recovered from the disease and 62 patients have succumbed to the infection so far, the official said.

The administration has thus far tested over 2.81 lakh samples for COVID-19, he added.
