1,524 new infections of COVID-19 along with 10 deaths witnesses in Telangana

There were 1,524 new Covid-19 cases in Telangana on Tuesday, apart from 10 deaths due to the virus.

This was after 13,175 samples were tested on Tuesday, the highest in a single day so far, out of which 11.651 were negative. The cumulative number of tests in the State has gone up to 1,95,024, while the total number of



positive cases so far is now 37,745. There are 12,531 active cases and 375 deaths so far, while 1,161 persons were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of discharged patients now is 24,840.

Tuesday’s tally included 815 cases from the GHMC area, while there were 240 cases from Ranga Reddy, 97 from Medchal, and 61 from Sangareddy.
