1,223 new cases of COVID- 19 registered in country in last 24 hours

A total of 1,223 new cases of COVID- 19 were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry said, a total of two thousand 720 people have recovered from COVID-19 during the same period.
The Ministry
said, there are over 16 thousand active COVID cases in the country and the recovery rate currently stands at 98.78 per cent. Over 220 crore 66 lakh vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far.
