Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai trailer launch cancelled over technical glitch

The trailer launch of Varun Dhawan?s upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, scheduled for May 21, was cancelled at the last minute. Directed by David Dhawan, the comedy also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The project has already seen multiple changes to its release schedule in recent weeks.

According to the makers, the trailer launch was cancelled due to a ?technical glitch,? while NDTV



reported that sources suggested the sudden move could be linked to an ongoing legal tussle surrounding the film.

The film was initially slated to hit theatres on June 5 before being pushed to June 12 following the announcement of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, starring Yash, which was scheduled for release on June 4. The makers later moved Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai up to June 4.
