Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed after five to six rounds were fired at his car in Mumbai's Juhu area on October 18. Mumbai Police have arrested three accused in connection with the incident, with the Crime Branch saying none of them is a minor. The actor's driver and an autorickshaw driver were reportedly injured.
According to Mumbai Police, two of the three accused fired at Shroff's car before fleeing on a motorcycle. The Crime Branch traced their escape route from Andheri to Borivali, then to Surat and finally to Kota, Rajasthan,
where they were detained with the help of local police. The motorcycle allegedly used in the firing was found in Mumbai’s Andheri area, while no weapons have been recovered from the accused so far.
At a press conference, Crime Branch DCP Raj Tilak Roushan said sections relating to attempt to murder and the Arms Act had been invoked. Police are still investigating the motive behind the firing and verifying an alleged social media post linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests have not been ruled out.
