Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is still a few days away from its India release, but the film is already making headlines at the box office. Advance bookings for the July 17 release have opened across the country, with ticket prices ranging from Rs 150 to as high as Rs 3,400 for premium seats.

The pricing reflects the scale of the film's theatrical release, with cinema chains offering The Odyssey the kind of rollout usually reserved for major event films. The Matt Damon-led epic is also expected to open bigger than Nolan's previous film, Oppenheimer, which earned Rs 131.73 crore net in India during its theatrical run in 2023.

Tickets for The Odyssey went on sale in India on June 8,

more than a month ahead of its release. While the most affordable tickets are priced at around Rs 150 in some locations, premium recliner and IMAX tickets are considerably more expensive.

At INOX Megaplex in Pune, recliner seats for The Odyssey are priced at Rs 3,400. At PVR ICON, Phoenix Palladium in Lower Parel, Mumbai, recliner tickets are available for Rs 3,100. Tickets for PVR IMAX with Laser at Priya in Delhi-NCR are priced at Rs 2,500.

In Bengaluru, a ticket at Cinepolis Nexus Shantiniketan costs Rs 1,950, while tickets at INOX South City Mall are priced at Rs 1,240. Shows begin as early as 8.20 am in some locations, with the final shows scheduled as late as 11:55 pm.
