Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland as the friendly neighbourhood superhero, have officially opened in India ahead of the film's July 30 theatrical release. However, despite the early bookings, the film will not be available in IMAX, a decision that has left many fans disappointed.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India also confirmed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will arrive in Indian cinemas on July 30,

2026, a day ahead of its previously announced international release date.

Advance bookings have opened across several premium large-format screens, including PLF, BigPix, ScreenX, ICE, 4DX and MX4D, in both 2D and 3D. Notably, IMAX is missing from the list of supported formats, making it the first Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to skip the premium format in India.
