Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja introduce second son, reveals his name

Actor Sonam Kapoor on Saturday shared a glimpse into her growing family, revealing that she and Anand Ahuja have named their second son ? while choosing to spotlight the deeper, spiritual meaning behind it.

The announcement was made via a family photograph, with Sonam focusing on the spiritual meaning behind the name and its connection to their first child, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.

Sonam and Anand named their newborn Rudralokh Kapoor Ahuja. He was born on April 29.

In her note, Sonam described the birth of her second child as a continuation of a larger spiritual



narrative. ?With love and gratitude, we welcome Rudralokh Kapoor Ahuja (sic),? she wrote, calling it a ?divine pairing? with her elder son.

She went on to explain the significance of the name. Referring to Vedic roots, Sonam said Rudra symbolises a powerful, transformative force associated with storms, breath, healing and renewal.

She also highlighted the link between her sons? names, noting that Vayu represents the life force, while Rudra embodies power and transformation. Together, she described them as complementary energies ? ?breath and power, preservation and transformation.?
