Amid reports of a delay for Salman Khan's Maatrubhumi, the film's new poster has confirmed that it is on track for a 2026 release, much to the relief of fans awaiting an update. However, one detail has caught everyone's attention—the poster does not mention the director's name. Instead, it simply carries the credit, "A Film By Salman Khan Films."
The new poster comes amid reports of the film being pushed to 2027. Reportedly, the
delay was due to concerns raised by the Ministry of Defence over certain portions of the film, including references to China.
Earlier this year in April, Salman Khan's war drama based on the Galwan Valley clash underwent a title change. Originally announced as Battle of Galwan, the film was renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. Salman officially revealed the new title along with the first-look poster on Instagram.
