Producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced the sequel to his 2007 hit, Heyy Babyy, titled Heyy Babyy 2 on Thursday while welcoming New South Wales Premier Chris Minns to his Mumbai office. During the visit, the producer announced a three-film deal to shoot upcoming productions in Australia, with Heyy Babyy 2 among them. Since the original film was also shot in Australia, the sequel will return to the country.

by Sajid Khan received mixed reviews from critics but opened to packed houses, featured actors Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan, and followed three bachelors who found themselves stuck with a baby.
The announcement is part of a collaboration between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Australia through Sydney-based TEMPLE, with the production house set to take three of its upcoming films there.
