Ruler of kingdom: Kareena Kapoor confirms King song with SRK on his 61st birthday

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has confirmed her appearance in actor Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action-thriller, King. Marking Shah Rukh's 61st birthday on November 2, Kareena shared a dramatic teaser glimpse of their dance sequence from the Siddharth Anand directorial.

Kareena shared a striking monochrome image featuring a silhouette of herself and Shah Rukh standing face-to-face under soft backdrop lighting. Captured against an arched light structure, the stark visual builds high visual tension as the duo stands close, arms resting casually in a poised dance posture.

The backlighting highlights their side profiles and distinctive hair outlines while keeping their facial expressions shrouded in shadows, adding an intriguing cinematic mystery to their upcoming screen collaboration.

Wishing Shah Rukh on his special day, Kareena captioned her post: "Happy Birthday King... The forever Ruler of the kingdom... Let's dance together... Can't wait... 24-12-26 (sic)."

Set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026, King marks Shah Rukh's return to the big screen after his 2023 release Dunki.
