Actor Salman Khan paid an emotional tribute to his late co-actor Pradeep Rawat after the actor's death. Rawat died at the age of 74 on Tuesday evening at a hospital in Bhiwandi following a battle with blood cancer.
Khan shared the tribute on his Instagram Story, where he posted a throwback picture with Rawat. Alongside the image, he wrote, "Shared many good moments with you brother.. May you rest in peace (sic)." Khan worked with Rawat in Baaghi (1990), Patthar Ke
Phool (1991) and Sangdil Sanam (1994).
Besides Salman’s tribute, several film members of the film industry attended the last rites, including Rawat's Lagaan and Ghajini co-actor Aamir Khan, director Ashutosh Gowariker, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, and actors Akhilendra Mishra, Raj Arjun, Karan V Grover, Surendra Pal, and Ruhanika Dhawan. Actor Yashpal Sharma while paying tribute to Rawat on Wedensday, Auugust 5, wrote, "Pradeep Rawat, our Ghajini, Deva of Lagaan, RIP (sic)."
