Actor Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly sustained a serious injury while filming a dance sequence. According to reports, she has suffered a complete hip tendon detachment and has been advised six weeks of rest and rehabilitation.
The reported injury is linked to demanding action and dance sequences for her upcoming films, Ranabaali and Mysa. Reports said the injury would require her to follow a recovery period before she can return to work.
Medical experts expressed surprise at the severity of the injury, emphasising that such cases are typically limited to
professional athletes and illustrating the extreme strain of her physically demanding shoots, according to reports.
Doctors have reportedly advised Rashmika to undergo a structured rehabilitation programme so that the tendon can heal properly before she resumes filming. The focus, reports said, will be on rest and monitored recovery during this period.
On the work front, resumed the shooting of her new film Mysaa after her wedding to actor Vijay Deverakonda. She shared an on-set glimpse of the under-production action-thriller produced by Unformula Films.
