Actor Ranveer Singh kept his love for football front and centre on Instagram after Arsenal’s Champions League defeat, even as chatter around Don 3 continued back home. The actor, who was in Budapest ahead of a major football weekend, shared photos from the match and posted a warm message for the club after it narrowly missed a major European title.

His post quickly got attention from Arsenal fans online. At the same time, the actor remained in the middle of industry chatter in India, with the Don 3 dispute gathering pace.



However, Ranveer did not address that directly. Instead, he used his recent posts to share moments from football, friends and some downtime.

Sharing a set of pictures from the match on his Instagram Stories, Ranveer wrote, “Proud of the boys. Fought like lions! Couldn't get any closer in a game of such fine margins. Congratulations to my Arsenal family on a historic season. And....the best is yet to come! (sic)” The message came after Arsenal’s defeat and was widely appreciated by fellow supporters online.
