The second half of 2026 is packed with several high-profile Indian releases across genres and languages, with mythological epics, spy thrillers, action dramas and comedy franchises dominating the slate. 

IMDb has unveiled its list of the most anticipated Indian films for the remainder of the year, featuring titles led by some of the biggest stars in the industry, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Yash, Ajay Devgn and Shraddha Kapoor. Ramayana Part 1

Language - Hindi

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1 stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Backed by Namit Malhotra and co-produced by Yash, the mythological epic is mounted on a grand scale, with Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG handling the visual effects. The film is slated for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release.
