Biographical drama "Green Book" has bagged the Best Picture Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards in Los Angeles. 

The movie is about the story of an unlikely friendship across racial divides.

Filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron won the Best Director award for 'Roma', the film about a housekeeper in a middle-class family in the 1970s.

British actress Olivia Colman clinched the Oscar for the Best Actress win for "The Favourite" for her portrayal of temperamental Queen Anne.

Rami Malek won the Best Actor for his turn as Queen musician Freddie Mercury in "Bohemian Rhapsody".

The India connect came with "Period. End of Sentence", set in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district. 

It walked away with Oscar in the Documentary Short Subject category. 

The film depicts how rural women learned to produce low-cost sanitary pads. It is produced by Guneet Monga. 

The year's best film "Green Book", about the relationship between a black musician and his white driver, is backed by Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Entertainment's Amblin Entertainment. 

It also won Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali and Best Original Screenplay.

Pop diva Lady Gaga got the Best Original Song Academy Award for "Shallow" from her feature debut "A Star is Born".
