Mumbai Crime Branch has recovered two firearms and 10 live cartridges from Surat, Gujarat, in connection with the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car, a police official said on Saturday.
The weapons were recovered on Friday during targeted raids conducted as part of the investigation.
According to the official, investigators traced the logistical trail of the
firearms supplied to the assailants, leading them to a hideout in Surat.
The recovered weapons and ammunition have been sent for forensic examination and ballistic testing to determine whether they match the empty shell casings found at the crime scene.
Further investigation is underway to trace other links in the weapons supply chain, the official said.
