Hanuman Ansh has found an unlikely new admirer in Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. As the devotional drama continues its remarkable run at the box office, Fadnavis met writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi and the film’s team at his official residence, Varsha.
Fadnavis congratulated the team on the film’s success and wished them well for their future projects. He also shared a video from the meeting on X, showing the team at Varsha to seek the blessings of Ganpati Bappa.
“It was great to have team 'Hanuman Ansh’ at Varsha, last evening, to seek blessings of Ganpati Bappa.
Congratulated Vishal Chaturvedi and team on their great work and wished more success in all the endeavours!” he wrote.
The meeting comes as Hanuman Ansh has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. The film, which opened in theatres last month with little buzz, has slowly turned into one of the year’s biggest theatrical success stories.
Its opening was anything but spectacular. Hanuman Ansh began with just Rs 10 lakh on its first day and collected around Rs 1.50 crore during its first two weeks. The film, however, started gaining momentum as more viewers responded positively to it.
