Kiara-Sidharth to Parineeti-Raghav, celebrities embrace viral 80s AI trend

From Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra to Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, celebrities are leaning into an 80s-inspired trend that is going viral across social media. Driven by AI-generated images and nostalgic styling, the retro wave is filling Instagram feeds with denim, bright colours, statement accessories and colourful backdrops.

Several Bollywood names have put their own spin on the throwback aesthetic. While many stayed firmly in 80s territory, others took the format in a slightly different direction, turning the viral trend into a playful display of personal style.

Kiara shared an AI-generated picture on her Instagram Stories featuring her with husband Sidharth Malhotra. The couple appeared in a retro avatar, with the Ek Villain actor seen in a classic double-denim look paired with dark aviator sunglasses. Kiara, meanwhile,



channelled the colourful fashion of the decade in a vibrant pink outfit with puff sleeves. She also added Sidharth’s romantic track Samjho Na from his upcoming film The Vvaan to the post.

Parineeti Chopra joined the 80s-inspired trend with playful retro pictures featuring her husband, politician Raghav Chadha. In one of the images, the couple appeared to be posing at a colourful carnival while enjoying oversized pink candyfloss.

Ameesha Patel was seen in retro neon pink attire featuring a one-shouldered top and denim shorts. She paired the look with leg warmers and white-and-pink trainers, and sat atop a large boombox.

Tahira Kashyap, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife, and Saba Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s sister, also joined the viral trend and shared their own retro-inspired versions on social media.
