Karishma Tanna reveals son's name on Janmashtami

Actor Karishma Tanna and her husband, businessman Varun Bangera, have revealed the name of their son in a joint Instagram post shared on the occasion of Janmashtami. The couple, who welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on July 29, introduced him as Ved Tanna Bangera.

Sharing a note on Instagram as their son turned one month old, the couple wrote, “On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, with Kanha's blessings, we lovingly introduce our little miracle VED TANNA BANGERA



(sic).” They also shared the meaning of the name, saying it stands for “sacred knowledge, wisdom and light”, with a deeper meaning rooted in enlightenment and learning.

Among those who reacted to the post was Dalljiet Kaur, who wrote, “Ved, you are blessed already to be born in Tanna and Bangera family. We love you so much. You are a GURUPURNIMA born, cant wait to see the beautiful soul journey ahead. Loads of blessing from ur Maasi and Jaydon (sic).”
