Dolly Singh becomes first Indian to win Instagram Golden Ring

Dolly's ability to capture everyday humor with characters like 'Raju ki Mummy' or the recognisable 'South Delhi girl' has made her work instantly viral. This familiar laughter recently gave way to celebration, as Instagram officially recognised her influence by naming her one of the 25 global recipients of its prestigious Rings Awards. Dolly is the sole Indian creator to achieve this honor in 2025.

While reacting to the news, Dolly shared with Meta, “Being recognised with the Rings Award is so surreal that the feeling has still not sunk in. It’s definitely one of my career’s biggest moments yet, and a shiver goes down my spine every time I think about it."
