Yami Gautam announces her next film Nayyi Navelli on Dhurandhar 2 release day

It was a big day for Yami Gautam, both personally and professionally. As Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by her husband Aditya Dhar, hit theatres on March 19, the actor took the stage at the Prime Video Presents event to announce her next film, Nayyi Navelli.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, Yami kept it simple but upbeat about the release of Dhurandhar 2. “Of course, very excited. Always excited,” she said in a brief interaction.

At the event, she also shared details about Nayyi Navelli, which will first release in theatres before



arriving on Amazon Prime Video. Calling her role “hatke,” Yami emphasised her belief in originality and fresh storytelling. “Originality is something I’m a big fan of. With an original idea and creative minds like Aanand Sir, Himanshu and Balaji Sir, along with strong partners like Amazon and MGM, I expect something special,” she said.

She added that the team is focused on delivering an engaging experience for audiences. “We want to give viewers the best experience with all our abilities. I hope it’s worth their time and money,” she noted.
