Vyjayanthimala's son refute death rumours, says she's in 'good health'

Veteran actor Vyjayanthimala's son, Suchindra Bali, on Friday refuted the rumours of his mother's death. He shared a note on social media, informing everyone that the 91-year-old was doing well and there was no truth to the reports of her passing away.

"Dr. Vyjayanthimala Bali is in good health, and any news that says otherwise is false. Before sharing, please validate the news source," he wrote in his Instagram

The actor, known for her films from the golden era of Hindi cinema, was recently seen performing on stage. Vyjayanthimala performed Bharatnatyam at Kala Pradarshini in Chennai in January this year. She looked healthy and rendered a breathtaking performance of the Carnatic composition, Daasiganunta in raga Abheri. Musician Girijashankar Sundaresan provided vocals for the recital during the actor's performance.
