In an exciting development for Bengali cinema, veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee is making a grand comeback to the silver screen after a 12-year hiatus. The iconic actor, known for her timeless performances in both Bollywood and Bengali films, will be sharing the screen with contemporary Bengali actor Nusrat Jahan in the much-anticipated film Aari.

The film, which promises to be an engaging intergenerational saga, will also feature



Nusrat Jahan’s husband, actor Yash Dasgupta, in the lead role. This marks a significant collaboration, bringing together two generations of talent in what is expected to be a compelling cinematic experience.

Moushumi Chatterjee, a stalwart of Indian cinema, last appeared in Goynar Baksho (2013), where she delivered a power-packed performance. Nusrat Jahan, on the other hand, is known for her versatile performances and strong screen presence.
