Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon to play lead role in horror-comedy film Bhediya

Varun Dhawan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in horror-comedy film Bhediya. The makers announced the film with a small video today. In the clip, Varun can be seen turning into a werewolf on a full moon night. Bhediya is a part of Maddock Film’s horror-comedy universe. The production company's another horror-comedy, Roohi, is awaiting the release.

Sharing the clip, Varun Dhawan wrote, "#BHEDIYA ka



pranaam #stree ji aur #roohi ji ko In theatres 14TH April 2022." Bhediya also stars Kriti Sanon. The actress also shared the same clip.

Bhediya will be directed by Amar Kaushik. Varun and Kriti will shoot for the film in Arunachal Pradesh for two and a half month. This is the first time Varun will be seen in a horror film. Along with Varun and Kriti, Bhediya will also star Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role.
