After memorable performances as Simon in ‘Coolie’ and Deepak in ‘Kuberaa’, Nagarjuna became a true pan-India sensation. As all eyes turn to his upcoming milestone project, his 100th film, recent reports suggest the actor will reunite with Tabu for the venture.

According to Telugu360, Tabu and Nagarjuna will be seen sharing the screen again, with Tabu set to play a substantial role rather than a typical glamorous one. Nagarjuna and Tabu remain one of Tollywood’s most iconic on-screen pairings, their chemistry first shining in the beloved family entertainer ‘Ninne Pelladatha’ and continuing in films such as ‘Sindoori’ and ‘Aavida Maa Aavide’.

Although they haven’t worked together in recent years, their pairing will bring nostalgic charm and serve as a special attraction for Nagarjuna’s landmark film. While there is no official confirmation yet, the news has already generated excitement

among fans.

After a decade away from Telugu cinema, Tabu made a notable return with Trivikram Srinivas’ ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ (2020), portraying the mother of Allu Arjun’s character. She has since signed on for director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming project with Vijay Sethupathi. If true, this could become another interesting addition to her filmography.

The film has officially gone on floors. Tentatively titled ‘King100’, it is directed by Ra Karthik, the Tamil filmmaker behind ‘Nitham Oru Vaanam’. Staying true to his tradition of backing fresh talent, Nagarjuna is producing the film under his banner, Manam Enterprises, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna was last featured in Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features an ensemble cast including Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Aamir Khan in a cameo.
