Global Icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas unveiled the official trailer of her upcoming international film The Bluff, offering audiences a first extended look at her character, Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden. The film is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 25.
The trailer shows Priyanka as a battle-hardened pirate queen, marked by scars, blood-soaked combat, and high-intensity action sequences. Her character is shown navigating violent confrontations on the high seas, engaging in close-quarters combat, and commanding attention through controlled physicality and restrained performance.
The tone
signals a departure from traditional pirate narratives, leaning instead into survival, power struggles, and raw intensity. The clip also gives a glimpse of other actors, including Temuera Morrison as Quartermaster Lee, who serves as Captain Connor's advisor, as well as Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zach Morris, David Field, and Vedanten Naidoo.
She shared the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “This only ends with the sand soaked in blood. The Bluff is coming to Prime Video February 25 (sic).” The visuals introduce a darker, more brutal world, positioning the film as a gritty, R-rated pirate thriller.
