Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon to feature in Rhea Kapoor's ‘The Crew’

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu are all set to share screen for the very first time in a comedy entertainer. Helmed by Rhea Kapoor and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film is titled as 'The Crew'. The filmmaker duo, Rhea and Ekta are reuniting after the 2018 film, Veere Di Wedding. Set against the backdrop of the airline industry, the plot revolves around three women who work hard and hustle to succeed in life. However, their fates place them in some unfortunate circumstances and they become entangled in a web of lies.

On Tuesday, Rhea Kapoor took to social media and announced the big news. The filmmaker shared a video from the cover shoot of the cast. In the caption, she wrote, "After three years of dreaming, writing, planning I present to you with @ektarkapoor on the November Cover of @vogueindia our ‘dream cast’ which is now a reality. ‘The Crew’ starring @tabutiful @kareenakapoorkhan and



@kritisanon starts shoot February 2023. Directed by @rajoosworld written by @nidsmehra and Mehul Suri."

Speaking about the film, producer Ekta Kapoor said in a statement, "After the success of 'Veere Di Wedding', Balaji Motion Pictures is happy to collaborate on another film with the amazing Rhea Kapoor. Tabu, Kriti, and Kareena are a perfect ensemble for ‘The Crew’ and the film is super entertaining yet funny at the same time. I can’t wait to bring this story to the big screen."

Rhea Kapoor also shared her excitement about the project and said, "Bringing these three gorgeous, talented movie stars at the top of their game for my next picture is a dream come true.
