Rajinikanth's cult film Baba, originally released in 2002, is set to hit the screens once again. The film has been re-edited and digitally enhanced to cater to today's audience. Moreover, its songs have been remixed to give them a modern feel. Baba is a supernatural action-thriller, directed by Suresh Krissna. The film was produced by Thalaivar himself. Baba proved to be a commercial failure but eventually became popular with Rajinikanth's fans.

Rajinikanth's Baba will soon be re-released



in theatres in Tamil Nadu. According to a press release, the film has been re-edited from a fresh angle to help it connect with the youth.

The release read: "The film is now gearing up for a new screening again, with a new look, that has been re-edited from a completely new angle. Not only that, every frame is digitally enhanced with color grading as per this modern technology. All the songs of the film, which are full of scintillating music by AR Rahman like 'Maya Maya', 'Shakti Kodu.(sic)"
