SRK gets cheeky as Academy shares Om Shanti Om speech, says 'Feel like the King of the world'

Leave it to Shah Rukh Khan to turn a throwback into a moment. After The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shared a clip of his iconic Om Shanti Om speech, the actor responded with his trademark wit, saying he now feels like the “King of the world”.

The Academy posted a snippet of the film’s much-loved monologue with the caption, “One thing about



destiny... it doesn't miss (sic).” The scene, set during an awards night sequence in the film, remains one of Shah Rukh’s most quoted moments.

And SRK clearly enjoyed the nostalgia trip. Reposting the clip on social media, he wrote, “Thank you The Academy for sending me down memory lane with Om’s speech. Now I truly feel like the King of the world. Ha ha (sic).”
