Singer Shreya Ghoshal paid a heartfelt tribute to the Indian armed forces during the Mumbai leg of her 'All Hearts Tour' on May 24. The concert, which was postponed from May 10 due to Operation Sindoor, marked the final Indian performance of her tour.

During her concert, Ghoshal performed the patriotic song 'Maa Tujhe Salaam' and paused midway to speak to the audience about the role of the armed forces in ensuring the safety and security of the country.

“Every second that we are standing here, we are not even having a single worry in our mind because there is somebody protecting us at

the border,” she said.

“Any place you ever see an army man, navy or air force officer, unka charan sparsh karna humara banta hai (we should touch their feet). So ye gaana hume charan sparsh karte hue, humare matrubhoomi ke liye hume saath gaana chahiye, mai chahungi ki humara saara band bhi isme invited ho. Saath mein gayenge toh (This song is like a charan sparsh (a respectful bow) from us. We should sing it together for our motherland. I would like our entire band to be part of this as well. If we sing it together, then) I think it will be very beautiful and I feel this is how we should remember this moment.”
