Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film 'King' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. On his 60th birthday, the team dropped the title reveal of the film, and also the first official poster of SRK. There is no doubt that the excitement around the film is palpable.

To add to this, sources close to the production that the film is being designed across two distinct timelines.

As per sources close to the development, the film is set in two different timelines. SRK will be seen playing the same character at different stages of life. In the younger timeline, SRK will reportedly be seen locking horns with Raghav Juyal, who takes on the antagonist space. The older King will then be seen going head-to-head with Abhishek Bachchan.

This marks the first major screen collaboration between Khan and Bachchan since 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' and ‘Happy

New Year,’ bringing the duo back together. Raghav, on the other hand, was recently in the directorial debut of Shah Rukh's son Aryan titled 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'.

However, 'King' carries weight beyond its casting dynamics. The film marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan. After her OTT debut with 'Archies', the film serves as her theatrical launchpad and her first film opposite her father. According to insiders, Suhana’s role is reportedly positioned as a core part of the narrative framework.

The film is backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and is being mounted in collaboration with Siddharth Anand. Anand’s signature grammar, high-voltage action design, scale, and star-led spectacle aligns closely with SRK’s current creative trajectory.

As production details remain guarded, the buzz around 'King' only adds to the anticipation.
