'Yaariyan 2's producer Bhushan Kumar, directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, and actor Meezaan Jafri face a second FIR in Punjab for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

Producer Bhushan Kumar, along with directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, and actor Meezaan Jafri, have gotten entangled in a second FIR filed in Punjab, this time on allegations of causing offense to religious sentiments in connection with 'Yaariyan 2'.

The complaint, filed by the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC), is in response to a song from the upcoming movie showing Meezaan

wearing a 'kirpan'. The FIR, registered at Division PS by Amritsar Police, invokes Section 295-A IPC, which deals with deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings.

The SGPC alleges that the filmmakers disrespected Sikh Maryada (conduct), tradition, and lifestyle for publicity and financial gain by incorrectly portraying the Sikh Kakaar Kirpan. They have demanded a thorough investigation and immediate action, along with the removal of the concerned video song from all online platforms. This follows a similar FIR filed by the Sikh Talmel Committee, a body of Sikh organisations.
