Ronit Roy to replace Sudhanshu Pandey in Anupamaa: Report

Actor Ronit Roy is likely to join the cast of popular Indian television show 'Anupamaa'. He could reprise the role of Vanraj Shah, who is the lead character's on-screen husband. This development comes after the departure of actor Sudhanshu Pandey from the show. Pandey played the character for four years before leaving in 2024. The change aims to revitalise the show after a recent decline in



ratings.

According to a News 18 report, Roy's debut is part of a broader strategy to re-energise the series. The makers hope to regain the audience's interest by reintroducing familiar characters.

Actor Rupali Ganguly remains in her role as the show's lead 'Anupamaa'. Her character's story currently focusses on her attempts to rebuild her life using her culinary and dancing talents.
