Rohit Shetty cancels all plans, asks friends to not visit him for next 2 days

After the reported shooting attempt at Rohit Shetty’s house, the filmmaker is keeping it low. As per reliable sources, he has cancelled all his plans for the next two days. He has also asked his close friends like Ajay Devgn to not visit him, at least for the next 48 hours.

“Rohit is currently cooperating with the Mumbai police and recording his statement. He is absolutely involved in the investigation. Even though his residence has been given added security, he has asked all his industry friends to not come home. He is attending to all his worried friends and colleagues only via calls and message,” the source

Four rounds were fired outside the Juhu residence of Bollywood director Rohit Shetty on late Saturday night, triggering a major security and forensic response in Mumbai, officials said. No injuries were reported in the incident.

After unknown gunmen opened fire in the vicinity of the filmmaker's residence, specialised police units, the crime branch, and forensic experts were dispatched to the scene. Authorities quickly cordoned off the area and stationed a heavy security detail throughout the neighbourhood as a safety precaution. In the wake of the incident, police patrolling has been significantly ramped up across the locality.
