Raveena Tandon's father, producer Ravi Tandon, breathed his last on February 11. He was 86. Raveena’s family, fans and friends offered condolences. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter of condolence to the actress and mentioned how her father’s death is a loss for the creative world. Raveena took to Twitter to share the letter and thank the PM.

Raveena Tandon had shared a heartfelt post and a series of throwback pictures with her father after his death. On



February 24, Raveena shared Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s condolence letter on her father’s demise and thanked him. She wrote, “Thank you for your kind words Sir. @narendramodi ji Truly said .. he leaves a legacy of versatile work (sic).”

In the letter, PM Modi wrote that he was deeply saddened by Ravi Tandon's death and that creativity and capability furthered Indian cinema. He also wished Raveena and her family strength and patience to deal with the grief of losing him.
