Dhurandhar isn’t slowing down, if anything, it’s shifting gears. Aditya Dhar’s high-octane entertainer, headlined by Ranveer Singh, has stormed through its second weekend at the Indian box office and has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark, sealing its status as one of the biggest hits of the year.

Released in cinemas on December 5, the film has maintained a strong upward trajectory in daily collections, benefiting from solid word-of-mouth and minimal box-office competition. According to Sacnilk.com, Dhurandhar has already minted Rs 300 crore, making it Ranveer Singh’s second highest-grossing film to date.

The film laid a formidable foundation in its opening week, raking in Rs 207.25 crore. That momentum has only intensified in its second week, with audiences continuing to throng theatres across the country.

On day nine, the second Saturday, Dhurandhar recorded its highest single-day collection so far, earning Rs 53.70crore nett in India as per early estimates. The jump marked a

sharp 61 per cent rise from its Friday (day eight) earnings of Rs 32.50 crore, signalling sustained audience interest even after more than a week on the big screen.

The numbers reflect the film’s growing appeal. Saturday’s collections followed a steady climb from Rs 27 crore on Thursday (day seven), a figure that was consistent with its Wednesday (day six) and Tuesday (day five) earnings. Notably, Rs 27 crore itself was an improvement over the film’s first Monday (day four), which stood at Rs 23.35 crore – its lowest single-day collection so far.

In terms of occupancy, Dhurandhar registered an impressive 66.09 per cent Hindi occupancy on Saturday, underlining its strong hold in Hindi-speaking belts.

By the end of day nine, the film’s total domestic collection stood at approximately Rs 306.40 crore. With the second weekend still underway, Dhurandhar is widely expected to breach the Rs 350 crore milestone in the coming days, a significant box-office achievement for both Dhar and Singh.
