Ranveer Singh to play Dev in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra 2': Reports

In the 2022 blockbuster 'Brahmastra', directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, fans speculated about the roles of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. While we did get a glimpse of Deepika, Ranveer wasn't seen. However, reports suggest Ranveer may portray Dev, Ranbir's onscreen father, in 'Brahmastra Part Two'.

made a brief appearance in the first installment as Amrita, Ranveer was absent. However, recent reports suggest he may portray Dev, Ranbir's father, in the sequel, 'Brahmastra Part Two'.

According to News 18, Ranveer is Ayan's choice for Dev in the sequel. The script is currently under development, and the start date for filming 'Brahmastra 2' is yet unknown. Ayan announced in April that Brahmastra's sequels would be larger and more ambitious than the first film, and he plans to film them concurrently.
