Ranbir Kapoor confirms Love & War postponed; to release after Ramayana

Actor Ranbir Kapoor went live on Instagram on Saturday to mark the anniversary of his brand Arks, where he interacted with fans and shared key updates about his upcoming films.

During the session, Ranbir confirmed that Ramayana is his next release and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, also starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, will release after that. The romantic period-drama was earlier expected to hit theatres in August this year. But with



Ranbir’s clarification, it is now likely to release either late this year or early next year, following Ramayana, which will cinema halls in Diwali.

Ranbir also spoke about the long timelines of his projects. He mentioned that while some actors complete films that release within a few months, his films often take longer to mount and release due to their scale and vision. However, he hoped that all his projects would be worth the wait for his fans.
