Prabhas’s latest release The Raja Saab, continues to make waves. The horror-comedy, which hit theatres on January 9, has sparked fresh buzz amid reports that the actor voluntarily reduced his fee by 33%.

As per reports, the actor received approximately Rs 100 crore for the film, down from his regular Rs 150 crore fee. Prabhas made this cut to allow more of the budget to be invested in sets, visual effects, and production quality, making the film appear even more spectacular on screen.

Regarding the fees of the other actors in the film, actor Malavika Mohanan received Rs 2 crore (approximately $20 million) for The Raja Saab. Sanjay Dutt received Rs 5-6 crore

(approximately $10 million), Boman Irani Rs 1 crore (approximately $15 million), Nidhi Agarwal Rs 1 crore (approximately $15 million), and Riddhi Kumar Rs 1 crore (approximately $10 million). Veteran comedian Brahmanandam reportedly received Rs 80 lakh (approximately $8 million).

As per Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 54 crore (gross) on its first day, including premiere shows. Some reports estimate a net India collection of Rs 53.7-54.15 crore. This opening was better than other releases and gave the film a strong start on the big screen. However, Raja Saab still lagged behind Prabhas' previous film, Kalki 2898 AD, which earned Rs 191 crore on its opening day.
