Guneet Monga and Kartiki Gonsalves brought immense pride to the country after their documentary, The Elephant Whisperers, won the Oscars at the 95th Academy Awards. The documentary won the prestigious honor in the Best Short category. Amid all the love the team is getting, on March 30, Guneet and Kartiki, along with Netflix's vice president of content Monica Shergill, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During their meet, PM Modi congratulated the team on their success and added that they made India proud



with their win. He shared a picture with the two ladies on Twitter and wrote, "The cinematic brilliance and success of ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ has drawn global attention as well as acclaim. Today, I had the opportunity to meet the brilliant team associated with it. They have made India very proud. @guneetm @EarthSpectrum (sic)"

In the photos shared by the Prime Minister, he can be seen posing with the Oscar trophies and The Elephant Whisperers director Kartiki Gonsalves along with producer Guneet Monga.
